A new video produced by a state pro-life group educates the public on the dangers of healthcare rationing in President Obama’s healthcare law.

The Center for Medical Ethics at Louisiana Right to Life launched a new website and video today, www.YourLifeatRisk.com. The website features a video that brings to light the truth about the new healthcare law known as Obamacare and it explores what healthcare rationing is and how it could affect your healthcare as well as your family’s healthcare.

Ryan Verret, the Director of the Center for Medical Ethics at Louisiana Right to Life, stated, “It is crucial for the public to be aware of the realties of health care rationing in this new law.”

The website highlights the Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB) and breaks down what this board will be deciding regarding healthcare in the future. The website contains documentation and information on rationing in Obama’s healthcare law.

Verret added, “For example, beginning on January 15, 2015, the IPAB will begin to recommend what diagnostic tests and medical care doctors, hospitals, and other health care providers can give based on “quality and efficiency standards,” and this will apply not only to government funded healthcare but also to private healthcare coverage as well.”

“We are seeking to get the word out on the truth about rationing in Obamacare and to ensure that the dignity of all life can continue to be protected in healthcare,” he told LifeNews.
