A pro-life elderly woman has been arrested after sprinkling Holy Water on a public sidewalk outside the local abortion business in Huntsville, Alabama.
Kelly Manley, the president of Huntsville Right to Life, informed LifeNews about what happened to Joyce Fecteau, a 75-year-old Catholic lady.
“I have personally known Mrs. Joyce Fecteau since 2008 and have interviewed her on several occasions. She is a kind, compassionate lady who raised seven children of her own, and she has also spent most of her adult life reaching out to pregnant women in need in helping them to get the resources that they needed to choose Life,” Manley said. “She has helped to save hundreds of preborn babies and women from the pain of abortion, and many of the women that she has helped have returned to the sidewalk of the abortion business months and even years later to personally thank her for her efforts there.”
Manley added: “I am disheartened that anyone would interfere with Mrs. Fecteau’s beautiful ministry and wonderful efforts in helping women. Women deserve the resources and emotional support for the choice of Life! Neither abortion nor the “slavery of welfare” are Equal Opportunity for women in America. We must continue to reach out and help pregnant women in need to decrease the number of abortions nationwide and to build stronger women in America.”
Fecteau was arrested on January 5 outside the Alabama Women’s Center for Reproductive Alternatives in Huntsville and the video footage below shows her being taken away by local police, though she was reportedly not arrested for spraying Holy Water, but for another reason after she did so.
The abortion business in question has faced numerous problems in the past.
In November 2006, state officials found the Alabama Women’s Center for Reproductive Alternatives in Huntsville violated 10 different health codes.

The state health department found the abortion center put women at risk by having those who called the facility experiencing medical problems after an abortion routed through to the abortion business administrator rather than a doctor.
Women who had serious bleeding or other complications following an abortion were not put in touch with a licensed physician.
Others were sent home early without allowing them any recovery time following the surgery.
The state health department also said the AWCRA abortion center routinely failed to document the gestational age of the unborn child prior to doing the abortion.
