Justina Pelletier’s older sister, Jennifer, told Fox News, Connecticut (Fox CT) that her sister’s health is “scary” and she has never seen her in worse condition. She is pleading for action to help her sister’s plight.

On Friday, Massachusetts Juvenile Court Judge Joseph Johnston announced that he is delaying his custody ruling of Justina until tomorrow (Tuesday). The Massachusetts Department of Children and Families (DCF) vehemently opposes Justina’s return home for reasons known only to them.

In all my years in practice, I have never seen a more outrageous overreach by a state agency. Judge Johnston should return Justina to her family that loves her. Prayer is urgently needed!

Our legal team was engaged with the Pelletier family throughout the weekend – this case has escalated dramatically. justinapelletierLate last week, Justina Pelletier’s older sister, Jennifer, visited with her sister who is virtually imprisoned by DCF. Yesterday, the Liberty Voice program reported on Justina’s horrific condition, as viewed by Jennifer…

“On Friday, Jennifer tweeted that she was ‘disgusted with the state of Massachusetts,’ and that the DCF was ‘harming my sister’ by ‘completely neglecting her health!!!’”

Jennifer had been to see Justina and was worried how swollen her feet and legs were. They were, she said, “Very cold to touch! Used to be very ticklish… [she] can’t feel.”

She also tweeted that during the visit there were “two armed local cops not in uniform” present, “With guns showing!!” She pleaded via Twitter, “Please help support my little sister!”

Jennifer also told Fox CT that following her visit… “Her physical appearance, just from seeing her, it’s scary.  Her legs are more swollen. They’re cold to the touch. She has no feeling in her feet.

I just don’t think it’s fair anymore at this point to keep prolonging it.”

Justina’s physical condition has been rapidly deteriorating under the so-called “care” of the DCF. Fourteen months ago, Justina was an ice-skating competitor. Now she is confined to a wheelchair because of Boston Children’s Hospital’s misdiagnosis and the DCF’s maltreatment for her rare metabolic disorder.

DCF legally kidnapped Justina Pelletier, arbitrarily making her a ward of the state.

I will say this again for emphasis: In all my years in practice, I have never seen a more outrageous overreach by a state agency.

The State of Massachusetts cannot make Justina a prisoner merely because they disagree with the medical protocols recommended and administered by a respected medical institution responsible for her care.

Over the next few days, I am petitioning the prayers of every friend of Liberty Counsel on behalf of Justina, her family, her legal team, and Judge Johnston.

Judge Johnston is considering three primary options…

Because Justina is a ward of the state, Justina’s personal, state-appointed attorney has asked the judge to release her into the conditional custody of the Pelletier family. CLICK LIKE IF YOU’RE PRO-LIFE!

The Massachusetts Department of Children and Families (DCF), the agency that seized Justina almost 14 months ago, opposes her return to her parents.  Instead, they are pressuring the judge to remand her to the care of the Connecticut DCF.

I firmly believe that the judge should restore Justina to the family’s unconditional custody and care, as requested by her local representation. After 14 months of separation and torment, we need to get Justina home as soon as possible.  It is where she wants to be. It is where she belongs.
