The pro-life movement has always concerned itself with caring for the disabled. After all, they are targeting for abortions before birth if an ultrasound scan detects some sort of physical disability and they are targeted after birth by infanticide in some parts of the world and euthanasia in other parts.
That’s why when someone is determined to overcome a disability to celebrate and take on the challenges life throws out us, it’s a beautiful thing.
Here is Cynthia’s story. She was crippled by multiple sclerosis and didn’t know if she’d be able to walk again. After stopping therapy because of costs, she found Karen Cheng, a woman who taught herself to dance in one year, and she resolved to teach herself to walk again.
