The abortion giant Planned Parenthood turned 101 years old on Monday.
But, the Daily Caller pointed out, the abortion chain’s birthday also represents 7.1 million more birthdays that never happened for unborn babies across America.
Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion provider in the United States, performing more than 300,000 abortions on unborn babies every year. It now also has strong political influence in America and across the world, pushing for more abortions and taxpayer funding for them.

More than a century ago, Planned Parenthood began to promote the goals of founder and eugenicist Margaret Sanger.

Advocating for birth control and sterilization, Sanger pushed the idea that certain groups of people were “unfit” to have children, including the poor, immigrants and those with disabilities. In her book “Pivot of Civilization,” she described these groups as “human weeds,” “reckless breeders” and “spawning… human beings who never should have been born.”
In 1920, Sanger wrote, “The most merciful thing that the large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it.”
Since then, Planned Parenthood has become the largest abortion business in the United States and one of the biggest abortion advocacy groups in the world.
According to the Daily Caller:
Planned Parenthood aborted 6,803,782 babies between 1978 and 2016, according to CNS News, and 328,348 unborn babies between 2015-2016, according to its annual report, putting the 2017 grand total at 7,132,130.
While Planned Parenthood aborted more than 300,000 unborn babies last year, they handed out only 2,889 adoption referrals — roughly one adoption referral for every 114 abortions.
While the abortion chain claims to be a women’s health care provider, its non-abortion services have been declining rapidly. Meanwhile, Planned Parenthood has increased its abortion numbers.
In 2015, Planned Parenthood saw approximately 2.4 million patients, about 100,000 fewer than the previous year and about 500,000 fewer than five years ago. At the same time, the abortion chain was enjoying about $554.6 million a year in tax dollars.
From 2010 to 2014, Planned Parenthood reports also show dramatic decreases in the actual health services it provides, including breast cancer screenings, pap tests and STD tests and treatments. And its pregnancy services for women who do not want abortions, such as prenatal care, ultrasounds and adoption information, basically are non-existent.
Earlier this year, the abortion chain’s leaders even refused an offer for an increase in taxpayer funding for its health care services. To do so, it just had to give up aborting unborn babies. Planned Parenthood refused. Its CEO called the offer “obscene and insulting,” a sure sign that Sanger’s eugenic goals remain the No. 1 focus 101 years later.
