Another abortion facility in Michigan appears to have closed this summer after years of aborting unborn babies, a local pro-life advocate reports.

Lynn Mills of Pro-Life Michigan announced the news Wednesday after noticing a “permanently closed” label attached to an online listing for the Women’s Center of Michigan in Warren.

Mills said she and two others called the abortion facility and verified that it has closed. She told Live Action that when she called, a staffer said the facility was closing and they were referring patients to another abortion facility in Sterling Heights, Michigan.

“Oh, happy day for babies,” Mill wrote online. “This is just another victory for pro-lifers and babies,” she added when talking to the pro-life group.

The abortion facility used to abort unborn babies up to 20 weeks of pregnancy. Abortionist Jacob Kalo, the owner, also closed his 30-year-old abortion facility in Lathrup Village, Michigan last year.

Fellow pro-life advocate Monica Miller shared more about Kalo’s abortion chain in 2017:

The clinic has seen its share of scandal and operational difficulties over these many years including the abortion-related deaths of at least three women, Chevon Williams, Regina Johnson and 15 year-old Tamiia Russell.  More recently, in February 2014 a woman named Jessica suffered severe complications when at Woman Care Reginald Sharpe performed an abortion on her 23 week unborn baby.

Beginning in December 2013 the clinic was inspected by LARA (Licensing and Regulatory Affairs) and the clinic, now owned by Kalo, continued to fail 4 subsequent 2014 state inspections.

In November 2014 the Attorney General of Michigan ordered an emergency shut-down of the facility. After a nearly two-year shut down, the clinic unfortunately was permitted to re-open.  But within the last 12 months Woman Care never seemed to be able to get back into the swing of things, operating with only a skeleton crew, few services, few hours—while trying to give the appearance that the abortion clinic was back in business even to the point of mounting a small, cheap neon sign in the front door window saying “OPEN.”

In 2008 Citizens for a Pro-Life Society discovered the remains of aborted babies in the trash dumpster located in the alley behind the clinic when owned by Alberto Hodari. In addition, our group found extensive bio-hazard waste as well as over 200 in-tact patient records.

Live Action News reports more:

In 2o14, that facility, the Women’s Center of Southfield, had its license suspended for several health and safety violations, according to officials.

The following year, an abortion patient from the Lathrup Village facility went public about her gruesome late term botched procedure and perforated uterus. According to a 911 transcript obtained by Mills, the abortion was committed by Kalo’s contracted late trimester abortion doctor, Reginald Sharpe.

Problems go back even further. In 1998, a patient also accused Kalo of sexually assaulting her.
