Joe Biden Fires Father of Teen With Down Syndrome Because He’s Pro-Life

In a stunning move, President Joe Biden has fired the father of a teen with Down syndrome from a national disability council.

As Fox News reported, the decision has been heartbreaking for Kurt Kondrich’s 18-year-old daughter, Chloe.

President Donald Trump appointed Kurt to a two-year position with the Presidential Commission for Persons with Disabilities in 2020.

In an unprecedented action, President Biden has been terminating Trump-appointed Presidential advisory council members. He is violating a long tradition of permitting council appointees to complete their terms. The councils are non-partisan and play an advisory role.

In an interview with Rachel Campos-Duffy of Fox & Friends Weekend, “Dadvocate” Kurt noted that he and Chloe have been “very pro-life…pro-life from conception to natural death.”

The Kondrich family played a pivotal role in passing “Chloe’s Law,” a Pennsylvania measure which provides educational and support materials to parents who receive a prenatal diagnosis of Down syndrome. The landmark law has become a model for the rest of the country. Meanwhile, Kurt and Chloe are determined to continue with their advocacy, despite Kurt’s dismissal from the disability council.

As Kurt Kondrich told Fox & Friends, “We’ll never stop” advocating for life.

Kurt and Chloe have spoken at the United Nations, lobbied at the state and federal level on behalf of people with disabilities, and have become internationally known for their advocacy. Chloe is also eager to meet Campos-Duffy’s daughter, Valentina, who also has Down syndrome.

Campos-Duffy hopes to make that meeting happen soon. In the meantime, Kurt and Chloe and Campos-Duffy are all scheduled to appear at the Celebrate Life Banquet Wednesday in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. The banquet benefits the life-saving work of the Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation, an affiliate of National Right to Life.
