Manchester,
NH (LifeNews.com) -- While the rest of the Republican field attempts
to outmaneuver one another and gain position as the most pro-life candidate,
Rudy Giuliani continues to defend his pro-abortion stance. The former
New York mayor continued his theme of promoting adoption over abortion
at a New Hampshire campaign stop.
"I believe we should reduce abortion and increase adoption," Giuliani said, in an attempt to soften his strident pro-abortion stance.
The he went on to say why abortion should remain legal.
"But in a society in which we don‘t want government running people‘s lives," he said. "We should keep the government out of it. We should allow the mother ultimately to make those kinds of decisions."
Those
kinds of remarks keep most pro-life advocates from supporting Giuliani.
