Harrisburg, PA (LifeNews.com) -- Hillary Clinton retains a small lead over her pro-abortion Democratic presidential primary rival Barack Obama in latest Pennsylvania polls. Voters in the Keystone state head to the polls on April 22 and a top abortion advocacy group is spending more money helping Clinton win the state.

At the beginning of April, Obama made up some of the ground he needed to gain to erase Clinton's double digit lead she held in Pennsylvania in the weeks prior.

However, her lead of about five to nine percent has held steady since then and Obama's recent stumbles -- saying small-town pro-life, blue-collar Democrats are obsessed about guns and religion -- won't help him.

The most recent poll of Pennsylvania voters, from Zogby, shows Clinton leading 47 to 43 percent and an average of the last nine polls shows her with just over a seven point advantage.

A Temple University poll has Clinton leading 47-41 and two other recent polls from Insider Advantage and PPP have Clinton leading 10 and 3 points respectively.

A Rasmussen survey from early last week shows Clinton leading 48-43, Strategic Vision has the race at 47-42, Quinnipiac shows 50-44 and Clinton tops Obama 49-41 in a Time magazine survey.

To make sure Clinton wins the Pennsylvania primary, Emily's List continues to spend heavily to make sure pro-abortion voters support her -- despite Obama just as strongly supporting abortion and opposing any limits like preventing taxpayer funding.

The Washington Post indicates the pro-abortion group last week reported spending another $50000 on direct mail that supports Clinton -- a number expected to grow as the primary date draws near.

That figure will allow Emily's List to mail brochures to the homes of 150000 women in the Philadelphia area to promote her candidacy.
