Nancy Pelosi’s lack of devotion to the pro-life teachings of the Catholic Church are well-documented, so it’s no surprise that she thinks Joe Biden is a “devout Catholic” even though he’s already crafted the most pro-abortion record in presidential history.
Pelosi introduced Biden at her St. Patrick’s Day lunch on Thursday and lauded him for his “deep Catholic faith.”
“And we could see how this great president came to be, as a person who understands the beautiful diversity of our country, as I’ve said, because he respects his own heritage,” said Pelosi.
“He understands how we accept–we respect our own heritage as well,” she said. “And he understands the dignity and worth of all people, because his Irish heritage in his case was accompanied by deep Catholic faith.”

But Biden’s abortion record makes it clear he’s on the other side of the universe from the pro-life teachings of Catholicism and recently he defended his pro-abortion views, saying he didn’t want to “debate theology.”
Biden’s aggressive promotion of abortion has made him the most pro-abortion president since the Supreme Court handed down the infamous Roe v. Wade decision in 1973. Biden even promoted abortion on demand in his State of the Union address last night, despite repeatedly claiming he is a faithful Catholic.
Biden used the State of the Union to promote abortion and called the killing of 63 million unborn babies since Roe v. Wade “health care.”
Although three is no right to abortion and ending the lives of babies before birth permanently deprives them of liberty and freedom, Biden said, “Advancing liberty and justice also requires protecting the rights of women.”
“The constitutional right affirmed in Roe v. Wade—standing precedent for half a century—is under attack as never before,” Biden said, celebrating the infamous Supreme Court decision that invented a so-called right to kill babies in aboritons tat has never existed in the Constitution.
“If we want to go forward—not backward—we must protect access to health care. Preserve a woman’s right to choose,” Biden said.
Biden’s celebration of abortion came hours after he complained about Republicans, along with Democrat Senator Joe Manchin, defeating the Democrat bill to overturn every pro-life law nationwide and legalize abortions up to birth. He griped that the radical pro-abortion bill wasn’t approved.
