A new Atlanta Journal Constitution poll shows Herschel Walker leading Raphael Warnock 46-42 and Brian Kemp leading Stacey Abrams 50-42. The poll is good news for pro-life people in georgia who don’t want their state led by radical abortion advocates.
Here’s more from the new survey:
The latest Atlanta Journal-Constitution poll paints a bleak picture for Georgia Democrats in November, with every statewide candidate aside from U.S. Sen. Raphael Warnock facing a sizable deficit less than two months before the election.
The poll of likely voters released Tuesday showed the U.S. Senate race deadlocked between Warnock, who had 44%, and Republican Herschel Walker, who was at 46%. That’s within the poll’s margin of error. An additional 3% of voters indicate they’ll back Libertarian Chase Oliver, while 7% are undecided.
That close race is one of the only bright spots for Democrats in the poll, which was conducted by the University of Georgia’s School of Policy and International Affairs.
Gov. Brian Kemp led Stacey Abrams 50% to 42% in the AJC poll, one of the first polls that shows the Republican incumbent north of the majority-vote mark he needs to win a second term without a runoff.
Kemp is solidly pro-life and signed the state’s heartbeat abortion ban that prohibits killing babies when the baby’s heartbeat can be detected at 6 weeks. That makes Georgia one of 15 states that currently ban abortions. On the other hand, Stacey Abrams is stridently pro-abortion and is using her position for killing unborn babies to try to win votes.
Meanwhile, if Georgia voters send Herschel Walker to Washington, he will be a strong pro-life voice in the United States Senate and a marked contrast to radical abortion activist Raphael Warnock.
In a statement reported by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Walker—the Heisman Trophy-winning former NFL superstar—called himself “a proud pro-life Christian” who “will always stand up for our unborn children.”

Walker said he supports states banning aboritons but indicated he would also support the 15-week abortion ban at the federal level that would protect babies in states thta alloow abortions up to birth like California and New York.
“I believe the issue should be decided at the state level, but I would support this policy,” he said.
Marjorie Dannenfelser, the president of Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life says Walker has been under constant attack from abortion activists and pro-life voters need to step up to support him.
“The Big Abortion Lobby’s attacks against Herschel Walker are just sickening. But the worst part is… they appear to be working. A new poll shows that Walker has fallen 3 POINTS behind pro-abortion Senator, Raphael Warnock. And after looking at the fundraising disparity in this election, I can see why,” she said.
Dannenfelser says Georgia is one of the best opportunities to replace a pro-abortion senator with someone pro-life.
“Georgia is our best chance to pick up a pro-life Senate seat and destroy Kamala’s 50-50 pro-abortion majority,” she said. “But with Warnock raising nearly triple the funds as Walker, I worry we’re in deep trouble in Georgia. That’s why Pro-Life America PAC is doing everything in our power to give Walker a boost during the final two-month stretch of the election.”
She said Walker needs pro-life voters to support Walker and “fight back against Warnock’s lies and win the 1 election that can deliver us a pro-life majority.”
Walker, a former standout running back at the University of Georgia who captured the Heisman Trophy in 1982, is solidly pro-life. Walker has attacked pro-abortion Senator Raphael Warnock and the “radical left.” He said Democrats had put “maniacs” in charge, and the election was about saving the country from a group that “don’t even like you.”
“They don’t even like this country,” he said. He added, “It’s time for us to wake up from this nightmare, time for us to get up, get back on track.”
Walker promised to vote pro-life without exceptions in an interview with reporters last week after a Macon, Georgia campaign event.
“There’s no exception in my mind,” he said when asked about cases of rape and incest. “Like I say, I believe in life. I believe in life.”
The Republican candidate said he believes children conceived in horrible circumstances still have worth and potential.
“You never know what a child is going to become,” Walker said. “And I’ve seen some people, they’ve had some tough times, but I always said, ‘No matter what, tough times make tough people.’”
Recently, he received an endorsement from the National Right to Life Committee.
“Herschel Walker will be a most effective champion for unborn babies and their mothers in Washington and he has demonstrated the passion and perseverance it takes to win the critically important Georgia Senate race,” NRLC president Carol Tobias said.
Tobias contrasted Walker’s strong pro-life stance with that of Warnock, who currently holds the Senate seat.
“Georgia deserves a pro-life senator like Herschel Walker who is committed to building a culture of life,” she said. “Walker’s stance for life stands in stark contrast to the out-of-touch record of Warnock who supports abortion for any reason until birth.”
Warnock, a self-proclaimed “pro-choice pastor,” recently voted for legislation that would force states to allow unborn babies to be aborted for basically any reason up to birth even if Roe v. Wade is overturned. He has a 100-percent pro-abortion voting record, according to NRLC.
In contrast, Herschel Walker has spoken publicly about his conservative pro-life beliefs for years. In September, he said he is running for U.S. Senate “because I love America. And I’ve got to fight for America. It is time for us to stop wondering what we’re going to do but do it because what we’ve got now.”
