Planned Parenthood finally admitted it supports aborting unborn babies for “any reason.”
In a promotional video published May 31, the billion-dollar abortion chain said it wants to “end stigma” about abortion by encouraging women to tell their abortion stories.
“When it comes to your abortion, any reason is the right reason,” Planned Parenthood wrote on Twitter. “Telling your abortion story is important, and the more we talk about this essential form of health care, the more normalized it becomes.”
The video featured the story of a woman named Lucky who now identifies as a transgender man and gets “gender affirming care from Planned Parenthood.”
Lucky found out she was pregnant in the midst of a “very, very difficult relationship” and decided to abort her unborn baby.
“My abortion was one of the greatest acts of compassion I had ever committed. It was an easy decision, … one of the best decisions I have ever made — ever in my life,” she said. “I wish that more people understood that abortion is health care plain and simple.”

Except, it isn’t. Abortions cannot be both a “choice” for “any reason” and essential health care. Medicine heals and it’s necessary, not a choice based on the individual’s subjective “reasons.” People do not choose heart surgery because they’re poor, or monitor their blood sugar and take insulin because they want to finish their college education. They do it because there is something wrong with their body, and they need the care to survive.
The same is not true of abortion. Its purpose is to kill an unborn baby. Tens of thousands of doctors confirm that killing is not health care and unborn babies are second patients along with their mothers.
Planned Parenthood’s newest admission is telling, though.
“Any reason is the right reason” means that the taxpayer-funded abortion chain believes it’s ok to abort an unborn baby if it’s a girl and the mom wants a boy. If the baby has a cleft lip and the parents want a “normal” child without deformities. If the parents use abortion as birth control. Or even if the mom wants an abortion so she can fit into jeans or get a better chance at appearing on a realty TV show.
None of these are good reasons for killing a baby in the womb, a child who depends on his or her parents to live and thrive.
Often, the pro-abortion movement brings up difficult cases like abuse, poverty and serious medical diagnoses to justify abortions, but the reality is – and Planned Parenthood just admitted it – that they support killing unborn babies for any reason, no matter how shallow or irresponsible.
