Should Donald Trump become the Republican nominee for president, how would he handle the issue of abortion?

From a new interview with 2022 Michigan Senate candidate Tudor Dixon, it appears he will press for exceptions such as rape or incest and remind voters that Democrats are the real extremists on abortion because they support it up to birth with no limits.

Trump and Dixon discussed her failed Senate campaign last year during a recent podcast and Trump said his advice to pro-life candidates is to emphasize exceptions. Although such abortions kill a unique human being and abortions don’t undo the rape or the trauma women victimized by rape or incest experience, a majority of voters support such exceptions so that’s Trump’s suggestion.

During her race, she said that an abortion ban should include cases of rape and incest, saying that “a life is a life for me.” She said that she would only support an abortion to save the mother’s life during her campaign at the time.

Trump implied that Dixon should have talked more about exceptions for abortion during her campaign to reach more voters.

Trump also said Republicans need to underscore the fact that Democrats are the “radicals” on aboriton.

“Yep, that’s what happened to you,” he told Dixon, speaking about attack ads on abortion. “And that’s what happened to a lot of other people and didn’t happen to me because, you know, there’s a way of talking about it. They’re the radicals. They’re the radicals and you have to explain. And I think exceptions are very important.”

Democrats deny this and former Biden spokeswoman Jen Psaki tried to play down the fact that they support abortions up to birth. But thousands of social media users on Twitter reminded her that it’s true and even she defended her former boss’ view supporting unlimited abortions at taxpayer expense.
