Pro-Life Advocate Lauren Handy is in Prison Just Because She Rescued Babies From Abortion

Our client Lauren Handy is still locked up for bravely standing up for the unborn.

You’ll remember that just over two weeks ago, Lauren Handy and her four co-defendants were convicted of violating the FACE Act for their defense of unborn life—and immediately hauled away to jail in handcuffs, directly from the courtroom.

You’ll remember that we immediately answered back by filing a critical Emergency Motion requesting that the Court release Lauren from jail but the judge denied our request.

Today, Lauren sits alone in a jail cell without a sentence—branded a “violent criminal” for peaceably protesting against the horror of infanticide.

Convicted drug dealers receive better treatment from federal courts than what Lauren is suffering!

Albert, it’s been a whirlwind of grave injustice since day one for Lauren’s case, and I want to make sure we bring you along every step of the way.

We are praying our three-judge panel on the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals will hear our Emergency Appeal as fast as possible—but for now, all we can do is wait.

What I can tell you is that we received the DOJ’s reply on Tuesday to our Emergency Appeal to release Lauren. And we submitted our own hard-hitting response to the Biden DOJ yesterday.

Every word counts when we’re fighting such critical battles like this one.

Our scorching response to the DOJ shows exactly how the government seeks to unilaterally “re-write the FACE Act,” to brand peaceable people like Lauren with the Scarlet Letter of “violent criminal.”

Now we have to wait as our three-judge panel considers this Emergency Appeal.

You and I know that sometimes waiting is the hardest thing to do—especially when you’re sitting in a cold prison cell, counting down the clock to find out if you’ll spend the next eleven years behind bars.

It’s no secret that the Biden Administration is utterly hostile to the pro-life movement…

…and would love to see plenty more brave pro-life advocates thrown in prison.

So, I am asking you to please keep our client Lauren Handy and her co-defendants in your prayers.
