Another pro-life organziation has endorsed pro-life Congressman Jim Jordan’s bid to become Speaker of the House.

Students for Life Action is not only endorsing Jordan, but the pro-life group is scoring the vote as a key pro-life voting in its socrecard of how lawmakers vote on pro-life issues because having a strong pro-life Speaker is so important to advancing the pro-life cause.

“Radical abortion extremists have infiltrated all levels of government under the Biden Administration, as well as in the U.S. Senate. Rumors of power sharing with those committed to such a radical agenda indicate that it’s time for the Republicans, representing the only party attempting to defend life, to get their literal House in order,” SFLA president Kristan Hawkins told LifeNews.

Hawkins made the following remarks: “In our pulse poll in the last week, Rep. Jim Jordan was the runaway favorite of the Pro-Life Generation, getting almost 84% of the vote as their favored candidate for Speaker. Jordan has a stellar track-record on life, supporting numerous key pro-life votes, and SFLAction was proud to give him an A+ on our SFLAction Report Card. And he has been a champion for free speech, something that pro-life Americans desperately need, given the viewpoint discrimination apparent in Attorney General’s Merrick Garland’s Department of Justice. Abortion is a federal issue, and free speech a Constitutional right. We will support Jordan as he works to advance and protect both.”

Unable to get these recalcitrant Republicans to come around and support his campaign, Jordan hasworked overtime to shore up vots before an expected third vote today. And there has been a lack of support for a motion on the House floor for pro-life Rep. Patrick McHenry to become temporary speaker until January.

Another leading pro-life group has endorsed Jordan, hoping he would be a strong pro-life Speaker.

SBA Pro-Life America told LifeNews that it supports Jordan’s nomimation, which will receive a vote on the Hosue floor today. SBA Pro-Life’s mission is to support pro-life candidates who share their values and beliefs regarding the sanctity of life. Jordan has a track record of staunchly defending pro-life principles and SBA appreciates his unwavering commitment to protecting the rights of the unborn and ensuring a voice for those who couldn’t speak for themselves.

SBA beleives Jordan, if elected as Speaker of the House, would be a powerful advocate for the pro-life cause. They were impressed by his advocacy for pro-life legislation and his ability to effectively communicate the importance of protecting the sanctity of life on the national stage. They highlighted his efforts to pass legislation that protected the rights of the unborn, emphasizing his consistent stance on the sanctity of life.

“Our friend Rep. Jim Jordan is a strong and proven leader on life and we support him for speaker of the House,” said SBA Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser. “Rep. Jordan consistently stands up to the Biden administration and radical abortion lobby against their targeting of peaceful pro-life advocates and unlawful misuse of the Defense Department to expand abortion on demand, for all nine months of pregnancy paid for by taxpayers,” SBA Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser told LifeNews.

She continued: “He boldly embraced national protections for America’s most vulnerable children – not only for babies in the womb who can feel the unfathomable pain of late-term abortions, but also for babies who survive abortions, so they are not abandoned to die. A unified pro-life House majority is imperative to stand firm against the extreme pro-abortion agenda and we urge the whole GOP conference to vote yes to Jim Jordan.”

Jordan defeated Rep. Austin Scott of Georgia. Scott declared his intention to run for speaker on Friday and Republicans went directly into a vote that Jordan won 124-81. Since then, many republicans who supported Scott have indicated they will vote for Jordan and current top republicans Kevin McCarthy and Steve Scalise are working to gather more votes for Jordan and Scott has praised him as well.

“I highly respect Jim Jordan,” Scott said. “He is an asset to the Republican Party and our nominee for Speaker.”

But now Jordan has to win over a few remaining Republicans who are still not on board with him becoming Speaker and he hopes to do so in order for Republicans to lead on various political issues including protecting babies from abortion.

Jordan, the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, is a solid pro-life advocate who has spoken up about the weaponization of the Justice Department against pro-life Americans.

Jordan has a 100% prolife voting record in Congress and recently castigated Democrats for supporting abortions up to birth and infanticide. He recalled former Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam (D-VA), who endorsed infanticide.

“We all know in 2019, then-Gov. Northam of the state of Virginia stated this: ‘The infant would be delivered, the infant would be kept comfortable, the infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother,’” Jordan said, adding, “it is simple. Infants born alive following an abortion are kids, are children. All newborns deserve the same level of care.”

“Taking the life of unborn children right up to their birthday, and then as Gov. Northam has pointed out, even after that,” Jordan said, adding “we want to make sure that ‘even after that’ part never happens.”

Jordan recently sent a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray about a recently-leaked memo from the Bureau’s office in Richmond, Virginia, that linked “radical-traditionalist Catholics” with threats of domestic extremism.

The news came days after CatholicVote President Brian Burch sent a letter to Jordan asking him to further investigate the FBI over the “anti-Catholic” memo.

Chairman Jordan’s letter demanded answers about the FBI’s “targeting of a set of Catholic Americans for their religious beliefs,” Fox News reported:

“The Committee on the Judiciary is continuing to examine the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s handling of domestic violent extremism [DVE] investigations,” Jordan wrote. …Jordan said he and committee Republicans have written to the FBI “several times” over the last year about “startling allegations that the FBI is misusing DVE resources for apparent political purposes.”

Jordan’s letter was co-signed by House Subcommittee on the Constitution and Limited Government Chairman Rep. Mike Johnson, R-LA.

In his previous testimony in July, Wray deployed a familiar Washington trick: He sought to put the issue to rest by claiming that there is an “ongoing investigation.” In this case, the phrase du jour is “internal review.” This is to say that the FBI is investigating itself.

“It was a single product by a single field office in Richmond,” Wray assured Jordan in his testimony before the House. However, Wray has blocked the House Judiciary Committee from interviewing the relevant agents in that field office in Virginia. Now that the unredacted memo shows the FBI operation against Catholics was larger than Wray claimed, we have a real scandal on our hands.

“Do you think priests should be informants inside the Church, Director?” Jordan asked Wray incredulously during that hearing. Jordan did not appear amused by Wray’s arrogant performance, nor was he reassured by Wray’s promise to investigate himself. The indefatigable Jim Jordan saw right through Wray’s obfuscation, and the evidence now proves that Jordan was correct in his skepticism of the FBI. Wray claimed to be “aghast” at the incident, yet given his eagerness to minimize and even mischaracterize what happened, he can hardly be considered a partner to the House Judiciary Committee in finding the truth.
