This week, Ohio Right to Life released several stories of Ohio moms and parents who are voting No on Issue 1 on November 7th.

November 7th is just 4 days away, and Planned Parenthood and the ACLU are working overtime to pass Issue 1, which would legalize painful abortion up to the very moment of birth here in Ohio. Issue 1, if it passes, will also eliminate a parent’s right to know if their underage child is considering an abortion or any other “reproductive decision”.

Ohio Right to Life highlighted the story of Nate and Lisa Herr, an Ohio couple who chose life for their son, Danny, despite his fatal prenatal diagnosis. Even though doctors said it was unlikely Daniel would survive birth, he lived for a precious 22 hours and was able to meet his parents, and his five older siblings. Watch Nate and Lisa’s story HERE.

Lauran Bunting is an Ohio mom who at the age of 17 was pressured to have an abortion but instead chose life. Lauran’s daughter, Isabella, now 14-years-old, joined Lauran to share her story as well and talk about why she is so glad her mom chose life. Watch Lauran and Isabella’s story HERE.

Milka, an Ohio mom who experienced an abortion, also recently shared her story with Ohio Right to Life. She said she shudders to think of an Ohio where painful, late term abortion, up to the very moment of birth, is enshrined in Ohio’s constitution. Watch Milka’s story HERE.

“These personal stories underscore the dire importance of voting No on Issue 1,” Peter Range, CEO of Ohio Right to Life, said. “Every life is precious, unique, made in God’s image and likeness and deserves a chance. I want to personally thank Nate and Lisa, Lauran and Isabella, and Milka for their courageous choice to share their stories which show the inherent and God given value of human life.

Yet, Issue 1 goes far beyond if you are pro-life or pro-choice. If Issue 1 passes, painful, late-term abortion will be legal up to the moment of birth, health and safety measures will be thrown out, and parental notification laws completely obliterated. Ohioans value life, faith and family, and Issue 1 is an attack on all three. Regardless, of your party, religion, or perspective on abortion, we all can agree that Issue 1 goes too far for Ohio. I urge you to vote no on Issue 1.”
