During last night’s presidential debate, Kamala Harris refused to support any limits on abortion. Instead, she supported reinstituting Roe v. Wade – which allowed abortions up to birth unless limited by states in the late-term.

The debate moderator asked Harris if she would support “any restrictions” on abortion.

“I absolutely support reinstating the protections of Roe v. Wade,” Harris replied. “And as you rightly mentioned, nowhere in America is a woman carrying a pregnancy to term and asking for an abortion.”

“That is not happening,” she claimed. “It’s insulting to the women of America.”

Critics held that Harris “dodged the question.”

Harris is wrong, as abortions are allowed up to birth in multiple states and late-term abortion centers are located across the country.

In fact, the CDC confirms there are thousands of late-term abortions on viable babies every year.

Currently, there are 143 surgical abortion facilities that will conduct abortions at 20 weeks or more.

Over the past ten years, the number of abortion facilities that are willing to openly conduct abortions into the third trimester of pregnancy starting at 28 weeks changed little – until 2019 when the number jumped from six to eight.
