Pro-Life Advocate Who Kamala Harris Put in Prison Urges People to Vote for Trump

Pro-life activist Will Goodman has called on Americans to vote for Donald Trump in defense of the unborn, in the face of Kamala Harris’ aggressive pro-abortion agenda.

Goodman is a Catholic pro-life prisoner of conscience currently in federal prison for peacefully protesting at a late-term abortion clinic in Washington, D.C. in 2020. In May 2024, after being charged along with eight other pro-lifers by the Biden DOJ, Goodman was sentenced to more than two years in prison by pro-abortion federal Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly on charges of violating the federal FACE Act and “conspiracy against rights.”

Other pro-lifers presently await trial, including numerous peaceful Christians who conducted similar rescue missions in Michigan, Tennessee, and Florida. Additionally, the DOJ has brought civil suits against pro-lifers in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York.

In an email message sent to CatholicVote on October 30, Goodman said he wrote “as a prisoner of conscience from the Danbury Federal Correctional Institution in Connecticut,” where he is incarcerated “for attempting to rescue innocent preborn babies in 2020 from a horribly painful death by bodily dismemberment at a late-term abortion facility in Washington, D.C.”

While granting that “both presidential candidates are far from perfect,” Goodman said he strongly believed “the ‘lesser evil’ is apparent if we prioritize the lives of the most innocent.”

“The reality — there is real evil amidst the candidates and campaigns,” he wrote. “So it’s imperative first to soberly assess the ‘greater evil.’ Further, voters have a specific responsibility to vote against this greater evil. In the present election voting ‘for’ a particular candidate is not nearly as important as voting ‘against’ candidates promoting grave evils, intrinsic evils, even demonic evils.”

“Such a vote is an act of defense to protect the most vulnerable, namely — God’s tiny children,” Goodman said, turning to the issue of abortion.

“When I consider the little ones Jesus particularly loved, I realize that I am called to love them too. So in the context of this election, I ask: Which party and which candidates have greater contempt for the smallest and littlest babes? The answer is self-evident: the national Democrat Party and the Harris/Walz ticket for president/vice president. Period.”

Goodman went on to cite abortion statistics, denouncing the way in which Harris has made abortion central to her campaign.

“Roughly one million helpless babies are killed every single year in the U.S. (with another one million men and one million women harmed) by abortion,” Goodman wrote. “Harris/Walz hold this atrocious truth as the very keystone to their ‘victory’ and they disguise the violent death of the preborn babies under the euphemism of ‘reproductive rights.’ There is no other injustice promoted by any candidate or political party that is proportionate to this injustice.”

Detailing the stark history of abortion in the U.S. Goodman said, “It’s conservatively estimated that between 64-66 million preborn children have been slain in our nation since 1973.” He denounced the way in which the Democrat Party “celebrates this barbaric slaughter as ‘the most basic human right.’”

Goodman warned that Democrats are promising to mandate the “freedom to choose” throughout all 50 states. “It is their most essential political ‘issue,’” he said.

In this election, Goodman argued, “Innocent little ones living in the womb are the most imperiled with the most to lose and are the most threatened with the highest numbers in all human mortality statistics.”

Goodman also drew attention to Planned Parenthood’s gruesome harvesting of body parts and organs from aborted babies for large profits, a practice exposed by the Center for Medical Progress and David Daleiden.

“For every little one killed by abortion, there has been an orchestrated effort to harvest their organs and tissues for ‘science,’” Goodman said. Democrats from across the country have protected this grisly lucrative business, especially Kamala Harris. Voters must push back against this disgusting practice.”

Goodman emphasized that the Harris/Walz ticket is the “most radical in the history of our nation and the history of the Democrat[ic] Party.”

He denounced their aggressive agenda, stating, “They enthusiastically endorse the killing of preborn little ones at all nine months of pregnancy – even live-birth induction abortions, for any reason.”

Goodman likewise pointed out that Harris seeks to enshrine a universal “national constitutional right” to abortion that would “overturn all state-level abortion restrictions while removing any funding or support of pro-life pregnancy resource centers (in some cases outlawing them).” At the same time, he said, Harris seeks to increase government funding for the abortion industry.

Goodman concluded by exhorting all people of goodwill to defend the unborn with their votes.
