Unborn babies are not the only ones being harmed by the Planned Parenthood abortion chain.
Reports about the billion-dollar organization’s transgender services also are raising alarms about unethical treatment of young children and teens, with one whistleblower accusing Planned Parenthood of treating vulnerable teens like “cash cows.”
Live Action News recently reported more about the abortion chain and its transgender advocacy, highlighting abortionist Michelle Forcier’s claim that even very young children can decide their gender.
“Some children figure out their gender really early,” and some figure “out their gender identity is not necessarily congruent with their sex at birth,” Forcier said in the Daily Wire documentary “What is a Woman?”
An associate professor of pediatrics at Brown University Alpert Medical School, she told NBC News in a separate interview that she sees transgender children as young as 8 years old.
“Kids rarely change their minds about their gender identity,” Forcier said, contradicting a growing number of de-transition stories from young adults like Chloe Cole.

Forcier said some children “look at their parts and say, ‘my brain says I’m a girl – but I have boy parts.’” She continued: “When a brain says – wait a minute – my body doesn’t match my brain, and my soul, and my heart’s idea of who I am as boy or girl – my identity as a human being – and my masculinity or femininity – we can call that transgender. Where body gender and brain gender may be in different places.”

When Forcier speaks to kids who are brought to her office, she told [the Daily Wire] that she asks them to “tell me your story – where have you been in terms of your gender and your gender identity? Where are you right now? And more excitingly, where would you like to be in the future?”
It is interesting that Forcier describes her work as if it respects the rights of children, when in fact, there are many children whose lives are deliberately ended because of her work.
The report noted that Planned Parenthood also is working with another transgender provider, Boston Children’s Hospital, on a study about “help[ing] young people make healthy decisions.”
A recently removed video on the Boston Children’s Hospital website said the hospital sees children as young as 2 years old for transgender services. But Kerry McGregor, a psychologist at Boston Children’s Hospital’s Gender Multispecialty Service, said babies in the womb may know their gender, too.
“So most of the patients we have in the GEMS clinic actually know their gender usually around the age of puberty, but a good portion of children do know as early as seemingly from the womb. And they will usually express their gender identity as very young children, some as soon as they can talk,” McGregor said in the now-removed video.
Testimonies from former Planned Parenthood patients suggest the taxpayer-funded abortion chain is basically giving out transgender hormone prescriptions like candy to any child or adult who wants them.
According to the New York Post, 23-year-old Helena Kerschner, of Cincinnati, Ohio, said Planned Parenthood gave her a testosterone prescription after one short visit; she never saw a doctor. Eventually, Kerschner said she began to realize how badly the testosterone was affecting her; her emotions were unstable and she tried to harm herself so badly that she was hospitalized twice.
Two years ago, a whistle-blower inside Planned Parenthood came forward after feeling troubled by its growing practice of prescribing hormones to vulnerable, uncertain teenagers like Kerschner who say they are transgender.
Speaking to author Abigail Shrier, the unnamed employee said the teens receive very little counseling even though many exhibit signs of mental health problems, including self-harm. Rather than provide real mental health care, she said Planned Parenthood treats the teens like “cash cows.”
The employee expressed concerns that the girls do not understand the risks and the counseling that they received is not adequate. She said there was not even a doctor working at her Planned Parenthood facility; instead, an off-site licensed medical professional would forward the patient’s record and then “rubber stamp” each request.
The employee’s story echoes numerous other allegations of unethical, dangerous and illegal actions by Planned Parenthood. The abortion chain, which reports billion-dollar revenues while calling itself a nonprofit and paying its CEO a seven-figure salary, has been accused of selling aborted baby body parts, botching abortions that killed women, covering up the sexual abuse of minors, discriminating against pregnant and racial minority employees and more.
Yet, Planned Parenthood continues to receive more than a half a billion taxpayer dollars each year while maintaining close relationships with some of the top Democrats in government.
