San Diego Mayor Bob Filner has been the subject of national news for months in the wake of sexual harassment allegations from several women.
Elected as San Diego’s first Democratic mayor in two decades, Filner is hoping to ride out the storm of criticism related to the sexual misconduct accusations and he has ignored demands by fellow politicians and others for him to resign.
The mayor face a potential recall election and Filner entered in an intensive therapy program in the wake of a sexual harassment lawsuit filed by a former staff member.
Even Democrats have come around to call on Filner to resign. But, last year, the Planned Parenthood abortion business claimed Filner was a defender of women.
