Let’s face it, most Americans are not following the World Cup action with the same level of intensity as our friends around the world. But here’s a moving story that should touch the hearts of all soccer, excuse me “football,” fans around the world.
Carlos, a deaf-blind man, had a desire to follow the World Cup games, and thanks to his friends, he gets to do just that. Using a combination of motion and touch, Carlos’ friends interpret the game for him as it unfolds.
The video shows how they make the impromptu soccer field and then the actual activity takes place at about four minutes into it.
What a great way to help their disabled friend!
