The Planned Parenthood abortion business today issued a desperate plea to its pro-abortion members urging them to make last-minute calls and emails to senators before the vote on Saturday on the nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.
While much of the Kavanaugh opposition centered on unproven and unsubstantiated claims that Kavanaugh had engaged in misconduct decades ago, despite witnesses saying otherwise, Planned Parenthood executive vice president Dawn Laguens admitted it was about abortion “from the state.”
Immediately after Kavanaugh was nominated, pro-abortion groups came out against him — saying he would be the 5th voted to overturn Roe v. Wade and its allowance for virtually unlimited abortions throughout pregnancy. Abortion dominated the opposition in the leadup to the Senate Judiciary Committee’s confirmation hearings and dominated the hearings until the 11th-hour smear campaign started based on the uncorroborated allegations against Kavanaugh.
Now, the top abortion chain official is admitted what everyone has said for weeks – this character assassination campaign is really just about abortion:
“Kavanaugh’s anti-abortion judicial record disqualified him from sitting on the Supreme Court from the start. We knew that Trump nominated him because Kavanaugh will cast the fifth and deciding vote to gut Roe v. Wade,” Laguens admitted.
She added:
Exhausting, enraging, and worse — the fight to stop Kavanaugh from sitting on the Supreme Court has been incredibly difficult, and it all comes down to this moment. Right now. Call your senators and tell them to vote no before it’s too late.
Women who fought to legalize abortion decades ago have stepped up again, outraged that our constitutional rights are once again up for debate.

Under questioning from pro-life Senator Lindsey Graham, Kavanaugh confirmed there is no “specific” right to abortion in the Constitution.
“Is there any phrase in the Constitution about abortion?” Graham asked Kavanaugh.
“The Supreme Court has found that under the liberty clause, but you’re right that specific words,” Kavanaugh said before stopping as Graham continued. Kavanaugh clearly was beginning to admit Graham’s point that abortion or a right to abortion is never specifically addressed in the Constitution — but was made up by the Supreme Court in 1973.
During his nomination hearings, Judge Kavanaugh was been careful to discuss abortion within the context of what the Supreme Court has decided in the precedent-setting cases of Roe v. Wade and Casey v. Planned Parenthood without biasing the hearings with his own views in a way that would force him to recuse himself in future abortion cases before the court.
During the first day of questioning, Judge Brett Kavanaugh refused to say that there is a so-called right to abortion. He declined to take the bait from pro-abortion Senator Dianne Feinstein who wants to get him to commit to upholding Roe v Wade once he is confirmed to the Supreme Court.
Kavanaugh also refused a pro-abortion senator’s request to promise to never overturn Roe v Wade, the high court case allowing abortions up to birth.
Also during the hearings, a new document was released showing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh is possibly open to overturning the infamous Roe v Wade decision that allows virtually unlimited abortions up to birth.
